Sean Salehi, MD, FAANS, Diplomate ABNS
Dr. Salehi is a partner in private practice at Neurological Surgery and Spine Surgery, SC and has been practicing in the Chicago area hospitals for more than ten years. He is a board-certified Neurological Surgeon and is a Diplomate of American Board of Neurological Surgery since 2004. Dr. Salehi is a Fellow of American College of Surgeons. He holds professional memberships at Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and AANS/CNS section on spine and peripheral nerves.
Dr. Salehi formerly was an Assistant Professor in Neurological Surgery at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University from 2002 to 2005. He has patents on two surgical devices – Regulated gravity-based external CSF drainage system and Self-cleaning surgical suction device. Dr. Salehi received numerous honors and awards and published extensively in highly acclaimed scientific journals. He has also authored a number of book chapters.
Dr. Salehi has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University. He completed his medical education from Temple University, and Neurosurgery residency from Northwestern University. Dr. Salehi also completed advanced fellowship in Complex Spine Reconstruction from Northwestern University.
